The Rotary Club of Freeport is an active group of business owners and professionals
who live and/or work in the Freeport and Pownal areas.
Through fundraisers held throughout the year, the Club raises the funds necessary to support several projects and organizations in both the local and international communities. Our main fundraisers are:
- Close to the Coast 5K & 10K race (held in mid-June each year)
- Rotary hot dog cart sales (cart is on the side of LL Bean's main store spring through fall)
- Annual flea market (held in early to mid October at the Freeport Town Hall)
